9/7/12: Dems-346,000 Repubs-126,000 (approximate) 9/2/08: Dems-396,000 Repubs-91,000 (approximate)
My takeaway is in 4 years, dem registration has dropped 50,000 and republican registration has increased 35,000. This is in Cleveland. I've found it difficult to pull up registration figures for Columbus and Cincy but I'll try. I know overall Ohio does not keep tabs of party affiliation in registration statewide so I was trying to go to individual counties to find that info. Very good news indeed.

I grew up in this area.
the truth is there haven’t been jobs there since 74.
I fled in 77.
Now its mostly old timers on old union pensions.
I hate to say it because many of them are friends and family, but they won’t last forever, and then things will flop.

I grew up in Youngstown where Joe and Obozo are working the unions hard.
The town has been dead for 35 years

Funny thing is, the only union shop I ever worked in was in Tx, a “Right to work” state.
Go figure!

Is the mob unionized? I think the natural progression is in the other direction.
That is, rather than mob's unionizing... it's more natural for unions to mob-ize.

I was just wondering whether Biden cuddling up to mob which had a great presence in Youngstown. IIRC James Traficant, who was imprisoned for bribery and racketeering, was from Youngstown and had ties to some unions.

I wish Common Tator were still with us. He always had great commentary on Ohio elections.
Nice job on your digging there. That’s good work.
