Employees of the Haaretz daily started an open-ended strike Tuesday, demonstrating outside the newspapers editorial meeting rooms in protest of management's refusal to present its detailed program of budget cuts.
The employees also want management to formulate an emergency plan for increasing revenues and to extend its offer of voluntary retirement...

Enh. They’ll do exactly what the Daily News did during its big strike: The editorial staff will cobble together a newspaper from wire service reports, and write the Op Eds themselves, and it’ll serve to keep their rag circulating.
