It does indeed, but I don’t see it happening. I HEAR it, but I don’t see it. People have grown accustomed to their comforts and can’t imagine their lives without them. As long as the comfort continues, no matter how little or hard it is to maintain them, no one will rise up.
Sadly you are correct. The Russians who rallied around Yeltsin in 1991 showed more resolve. And they had nothing at hand but their courage and determination.
