this is good for us and America but we have to remember that Dems, many of them students, snowbirds, even elected officials vote in other states and vote more than once.

We have republican Gov’s in some swing states including mine state and we have to purge these rolls of dead people and stop this insane early voting and absentee voting

You could put a stop to duplicate voting (and the dead voting as well) with one simple change:

Use the the Social Security database at voting polls. When you step into a polling place, you yourself enter your SS# into a computer linked to SS, and up pops your name (which had better match your photo id), your permanent address (which had better be in the precinct you’re voting in), your birth date (which had better show you to be 18), and your date of death (which had better be an empty field.)

I’m not sure if your SS record indicates whether you’re a citizen or not, but I’d bet that most non-citizens, whether here legally or not, would have trouble coming up with a Social Security record that matches their photo ID. Then if each state would indicate citizenship on their photo ID, that problem too would be solved.

Finally, we need to return to the traditional use of absentee ballots, i.e., to be used only when possessing a valid excuse for being unable to show up at the polls on election day. And pffft to early voting.
