Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has famously stated that she is a middle class American, and it was this very claim that prompted many of her critics to openly question whether or not it was a realistic assessment of her personal income and assets....
...reviews of Wasserman Schultz congressional financial disclosures revealed a not widely known fact that she owns a second home in New Hampshire and is also not required to disclose her husbands salary...
So when you get down to it, Wasserman Schultzs claim that I am a middle class American argument really has no credibility, especially now that its been discovered that the Schultzs own or lease $100K in automobiles in addition to their two homes whose estimated value is about $1 million.

Here is a picture of the Schultz familys luxury vehicles parked in their driveway, partisan bumper stickers and all. Note that both of the vanity license plates are Member of Congress plates, the late model Corvette having a glaring DWS on it. The white Infinity SUV sports a Pink Slip Rick Scott bumper sticker, as well as two Obama for President 2012′ bumper stickers
As a Gator I am ashamed that DWS went to UF.
These Democrats always live The Lives Of The Rich And Famous and no one says “boo” about it. The politicians are the strangest of all. I mean, if Barbara Streisand or Michael Moore or Alec Baldwin want to live in multi-million dollar homes and drive luxury cars around, hey, they earned their money by their own talents, however dubious. They’re hypocrites, but that’s not a crime.
But these congresspeople make a decent upper-middle-class salary. How come so many of them live like royalty? Why is it off-limits? It’s not off-limits if its a Republican, after all.
DWS = Driving While Stupid?
Wheres the “COEXIST” bumper sticker?
Somehow ‘Corvette’ and DWS just don’t go together. Maybe her husband’s car.. No 0bama bumper sticker. LOL
I mean how tacky is it to have your own campaign sticker on your car?
Shouldn’t they be driving a Chevy Volt or a Prius?
If you are buying a sports car and SUV,and one of the vehicles is a foreign make, you definetly want the domestic to be the SUV.
Really, an Infinty QX over a Cadillac Escalade?
Even in South Beach, the Caddy has more cachet.
“Somehow Corvette and DWS just dont go together”
it (dws) will be rejected by limited seat width.
not required to disclose her husbands salary
She actually has a husband?
I’m sure the Vette and the Infiniti have a much larger carbon footprint than a Prius. I mean these are Gore cars.
it (dws) will be rejected by limited seat width.
She probably got the new Government Motors Employee option - "Front Bench Seat".
Looks the same as the driveways of Union Bosses....they’re Sooooooooooo interested in taxing those “rich white bastards”; and their Union membership doesn’t care at all what happens to their Dues.....
Stupid post. Makes us all look like nuts here at FR.
A Corvette and a Toyota SUV.
Big deal.
I own a big Harley, a 51 Ford Hot Rod, an FJ Cruiser, and a Toyota Coralla.
I’m a single dad of two small kids and make a reasonable living.
So what’s your point?
Er, Infiniti is Nissan’s luxury line. Toyota has Lexus.
I think DWS is a POS.
That said,Are those for sure US Congress plates???? it looks to me like those are UofFla vanity plates.is that a gators head.
The Democrat party exists so that ugly bitches would have opportunities they would not have otherwise.
my guess is that the point was the ‘do as i say not as i do’
behavior pattern.
I quickly read the Corvette’s license plate and thought it said OWS which being marble mouth Schultz, it wouldn’t surprise me if she supports that.
Yup, they are. Next to the gator head it says "Member of Congress"
And the ararchist slogan, Question Authority bumper sticker
Children, too - if the decals on that SUV's rear window are accurate.
“Somehow Corvette and DWS just dont go together. Maybe her husbands car.. No 0bama bumper sticker. LOL”
Anyone who puts a bumper sticker on a vet should be shot on sight.
“Stupid post. Makes us all look like nuts here at FR.”
I can’t help but agree. There are thousands of substantive issues that are far more important than Debbie’s cars or Michelle’s big butt. Just their absurd speeches recently serve as examples. BTW I know I’m throwing rocks from my own glass house but with so few days left before the election, tit for tat name calling only amuses the strong partisans on either side.
Are you really that thick-headed?
This is uncomfortable for me,,feels like we are stalking her,,don’t like it.
The picture is an illustration...the point is:
So when you get down to it, Wasserman Schultzs claim that I am a middle class American argument really has no credibility, especially now that its been discovered that the Schultzs own or lease $100K in automobiles in addition to their two homes whose estimated value is about $1 million.
Middle class my arse.
You have two homes worth about $1M? One in the northeast and another in Florida?
I agree. This isn’t exactly “luxury”. She’s a Congress-critter, and the Head of the DNC, so I was expecting like a Lamborghini.

Looking at the back of the SUV -- I'd conclude that the owner doesn't pay much attention to details -- like turn signals, and the other traffic -- and it would be a car to stay well away from. Particularly when riding a bicycle or motorcycle.
The point is that one should not be so well rewarded for 'Effing up our country.
And just think how much more she could afford if she didn’t spend so much on hairspray.
Chevrolet Corvette, typical price around $70,000.
Infiniti QX56, typical price around $70,000.
That’s more money than the single most popular car in America’s wealthiest zip codes: The Mercedes E-class. Those are luxury vehicles and gas-guzzlers by anyone’s standards.
And yes, they appear in many ‘middle-class’ driveways.
No volt.
No green cars either.
Slow day?
no. you?
Well, admittedly the two homes worth $1M make the point better, but we’ve yet to see the kind of place she has in New Hampshire.
She ought to be able to afford a fancy car, she gets her meds free.
