Obama’s dereliction of duty

Leader of the free world only cares about campaigning

President Obama has a one-man job agenda, instead of a national jobs agenda. Getting himself re-elected has become his full-time occupation. While all incumbents necessarily devote a portion of their time to campaigning and fundraising, Mr. Obama has ceased to keep up with the basic functions of the office. Meanwhile, the nation plummets further into debt.

On Tuesday, Moody’s Investor Service warned it would downgrade America’s credit rating unless Washington comes up with specific policies to reduce the ratio of federal debt to gross domestic product.

The credit analysts want to see a budget deal reached on the so-called “fiscal cliff,” which is the combination of the $1.2 trillion sequester and $4.5 trillion in tax hikes slated to hit on the first days of the new year. In response, House Speaker John A. Boehner said he is “not confident at all” that this can be done with the no-show leadership at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. “The House has done its job on both the sequester and on the looming tax hikes that’ll cost our economy some 700,000 jobs,” the Ohio Republican told reporters on Tuesday. “And both of these, where’s the president? Where’s the leadership? Absent without leave.” Thirteen months ago, Standard and Poor's downgraded the U.S. long-term sovereign credit rating to AA+ over the failure to deal responsibly with the rapidly mounting debt. Since then, America added $1.5 trillion in debt, bringing the total to $16 trillion.

The ONLY job Obama is worried about saving is his OWN damn job.

Enough already, too, with the "talking heads" and political hacks who speak of his "not having a plan" and of being "a good man who just doesn't understand how the private sector works."

These declarations by political opponents or so-called journalists are either outright dishonest, or they are ridiculously naive.

He has a plan, and he does understand the private sector. His plan is working, and he prefers government planning and control of citizens, property, and the economy to individual wealth creation, private property rights and citizen control of their elected officials in government.

Big difference.

Honesty about these things would be the best course for Romney/Ryan. The election is about liberty versus freedom.

"Posterity! you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom! I hope you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it." - John Adams, Letter to Abigail Adams,

Well said...In my view it's clearly that the majority of so-called journalists are outright dishonest and are and have been in the tank for the ‘real’ first black president. It's very sad.

Obama needs to resign and leave. He faces election defeat, another hostage crisis, and/or impeachment charges that could hint at treason in his support of Iran.

Couldn't agree more but we know he won't go that easy, he'll go kicking and screaming even if he's beat handily in this election.

“Couldn’t agree more but we know he won’t go that easy, he’ll go kicking and screaming even if he’s beat handily in this election.”

Mr. Obama is intent on teaching this nation a lesson, and he is succeeding beyond all imagination.

There is going to be a reckoning.
