Roger Ebert still hasn’t reviewed the film even though it’s been playing Chicago for weeks.

Hackwork.

And nobody should send him a “screener” as he blogged. He has already been caught once WALKING OUT OF A THEATER minutes into a movie and writing a full review. If you send him a screening video, just put the first 20 minutes on it followed by a color bar test pattern. See if he notices.

Once had an exchange with Ebert on the film, “Gods and Generals.” He is so unhinged on the issue of slavery that he can’t imagine that confederate officers were actually gentlemen, or that slaves might have any real loyalty to their masters. Of course, he is physically, and that added to his dogmas, make him an unreliable judge on any substantive issue. Over all a good judge of the kind of films ordinary people like. BUT....
