John McCain made a HUGE effort in support of the “Arab Spring”, and even supports military involvement in Syria,
just as he did in Libya.
(and remember, McCain specifically dismissed the “War Powers Act” also!

I can remember being a bit confused over Libya. I knew the Islamic brotherhood was bad news, but also couldn’t stand Khadaffi.
For certain tho, I wanted us and NATO to completely stay out of it.
Now as awful as Syria is, the ones trying to depose him are almost certainly even worse.
