Obama: Romney shoots first, aims later

(CBS News) In response to Mitt Romney's criticism of the Obama administration for its handling of recent violence in Egypt and Libya, President Obama told CBS News on Wednesday that Romney "seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later."
"There's a broader lesson to be learned here," Mr. Obama told "60 Minutes" correspondent Steve Kroft at the White House. "And I -- you know, Governor Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later. And as president, one of the things I've learned is you can't do that. That, you know, it's important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts. And that you've thought through the ramifications before you make 'em."
Asked if Romney's attacks were irresponsible, the president replied, "I'll let the American people judge that."

The media has been in Obama’s pocket since January 2008, they saw something in him that they didnt even see in Hillary Clinton. They saw in Obama that he was the most Progressive, far left guy that they have seen since Carter(Obama makes Carter look decent) this is who the media fell in love with, this is who they will protect FOREVER. No matter what happens, they will take the focus off of Obama and put it on Romney, or Palin, or Bush, or ANYONE else, because Obama is a failure and they know it, that is why they have to protect him

Romney had a duty to voice his opinion on this crisis. He is a Presidential candidate. People have a right to know his thoughts on important subjects. The President said thought should be given before a statement is made. I guess some people are quick thinkers and others not so much. The fact that this crisis happened during a political campaign is not Romney’s fault.
