Egypt has a crappy army. They couldn’t stop it.

Might want to check that. We have supplied them with M1A2 heavy tanks, F-16 fighters, Patriot missile batteries. Their airfoce pilots have trained an Nellis and their tankers trained along side ours. Sure they are a Middle East army, but they are far and away the best equipped Middle East army.

An attempt to take and hold territory in Egypt would be nearly impossible unless we were to get a lot more ruthless than we have been since WWII. On the other hand a few strikes against the Aswan Dam and mines in the Suez can wreck their economy without having to put boots on the ground.

Breaching the dam would work.

If the Brits coulkd take out three in the mountainous Ruhr valley, one in the desert should be a cinch.

BTW, I have no problem with us being even more ruthless than Sherman was in Georgia.....
