Libya arrests 4 over deadly Benghazi attack: official

TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Libyan authorities have made four arrests in the investigation into the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in which the U.S. ambassador and three embassy staff were killed, the deputy interior minister said on Thursday.

"Four men are in custody and we are interrogating them because they are suspected of helping instigate the events at the U.S. consulate," Wanis Sharif told Reuters.

He gave no more details.

Yesterday, the Libyans were blaming “Qaddafy supporters” for the attack.

Something tells me this is a case of “round up the usual suspects.”

No way the incompetent Libyans have caught the right people. They no doubt heard Rand Paul and others were moving to cut all their funding and rounded up 4 random Muslims. They’ll say they’re innocent, but we can’t exactly send CSI in on this one. The real killers are likely in the Algerian desert by now, plotting the next attack.
