U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday released a video greeting to the Jewish people in honor of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
Obama suggested that the New Year was a time to repair his country's relationship with Israel, at the end of a week in which he and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had been at odds over Iran's nuclear program.

As we look forward to the beginning of the Jewish High Holidays Sunday night, I want to extend my warmest wishes to all those celebrating the New Year, Obama said.
This is a joyful time for millions of people around the world. But Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are also opportunities for reflection. They represent a chance to take stock of our lives and look forward to the coming year with clear eyes and renewed purpose.
In that spirit, the Jewish Tradition teaches us that one of the most important duties we have during this period is the act of reconciliation. Were called to seek each other out and make amends for those moments when we may not have lived up to our values as well as we should.
At a time when our public discourse can too often seem harsh; when society too often focuses on what divides us instead of what unites us; I hope that Americans of all faiths can take this opportunity to reach out to those who are less fortunate; to be tolerant of our neighbors; and to recognize ourselves in one another. And as a nation, let us be mindful of those who are suffering, and renew the unbreakable bond we share with our friends and allies including the State of Israel.

The day that Obama is filming Letterman, why can’t Romney have a private dinner with Netanyahu. No need for anyone to know their conversation.
“No soup for you, Bambi!”
How long did it take Tina to leave Ike? How long will it take ... oh, never mind.
“And as a nation, let us be mindful of those who are suffering, and renew the unbreakable bond we share with our friends and allies including the State of Israel.”
In other words, they should get in back of the line, after all his important new friends.
“Were called to seek each other out and make amends for those moments when we may not have lived up to our values as well as we should.”
In other words, the Israelis have to make amends, and live up to his sense of values.
Please tell me that you recognize this statement for what it is this time.
But Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are also opportunities for reflection re-election.
Reminds me of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, when the Nazis came into the ghetto promising the Jews a Passover Seder if they surrendered.
“Eat the cake, Anna Mae! Eat the Cake!”
At this point in time, I would trust Mossad over the CIA and NSA.
I think this is why Romney felt comfortable in releasing his statement about Cairo so early...he had been advised that Libya would follow shortly...and that Obama and Hillary would appease accordingly.

Now that right thar is funny..
Zillions of reasons that I loathe Obamatollah - but his disrespect and arrogance towards Israel has really got me seething!
Benji MUST nuke Iran with or without American aid, (or permission) and I speak simply as an American Christian, with no blood ties to Israel whatsoever. We need to do the right thing for our allies, screw Islam!
Heard Net said "Eastwood got it right".

Obama said our (American/Israeli) was unbreakable and tries to out-muzzie the muzzies regarding Israel. This is political theater...he does not give a damn about Israel. This is some nonsense Axlerod and gang thought up as distraction and misdirection. Bibi knows Obama is pissing down his leg. We know it too.
A little bit late, Zero.
That speech is breathtaking and jaw dropping in it’s absolute Hutzpah by this life long antisemitic POS.
There would be no honor for the Jewish people to trust, bond or even accept Obama.
I stand with with Israel... I always will.
