President Obama and Mitt Romney continue to run nearly dead even in the key swing state of Ohio.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Ohio Voters shows the president earning 47% support to Romneys 46%. Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided.

Looks like 2004 all over again. It will be won, or lost, in Ohio if the numbers are correct.
Ohio is ground zero, no state is more important in this election.
I find it hard to believe Obama is this close in Ohio.
Not looking good for Barry in Ohio.
Agreed. I think FL comes home to romney. NC does as well. VA has me nervous due to northern VA being a lib cespool but hopefully it comes home. OH has to go romney or theres really no path to victory. Id have ryan camp out in the state for the next 2 months.
I doubt he is.
What RDI breakdown did hey have to use to arrive at this number?
Romney is tght or even with O in Ohio. Why? 1. Romney has not begun to campaign, 2. Gov Kasich (R) has somewhat brought Ohio back through state cuts in spending and O is claiming credit 3. Ohio discovered a lot of oil through “fracking” in northeastern Ohio and jobs are therefore recovering, as are tax revenues. 4. O says he “saved” auto industry and Ohio has many parts and assembly plants. 5. & Biden & Moochelle have all been in POhio countless times, promising everything. They know Ohio is the plane of Armageddon and will put it all at stake here. Please do what you can to make the stake a defining blow. ~ From the belly of the beast
N va is very pro military now thanks to a fort Belvor expansion
It may be better for Romney at 46 than an incumbent at 47.
+1
if “the polls” are this close, it means romney is ahead
If I were President I’d be opening up or making bigger military bases in those swing states especially like NM, CO.
Once those bases were closed in CO then the area went Dem
He’s ahead. I’ve been thinking when zer0 gets the boot, the left just might start firing live, at US. They are really becoming unglued.
I think Romney is ahead based on the polls and the trends. As Election Day nears, the polls will show the gap.
Romney tax returns to be leaked in 3...2...1
Unfortunately, Hotair is reporting WSJ poll has Obama up by seven in Ohio, five in Virginia and also up in Florida: http://hotair.com/archives/2012/09/13/wsjnbc-poll-obama-now-leads-by-five-in-virginia-and-florida-by-seven-in-ohio/
