President Obama and Mitt Romney continue to run nearly dead even in the key swing state of Ohio.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Ohio Voters shows the president earning 47% support to Romneys 46%. Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided.

I plan on going to the Romney rally in Painsville today how about you?
Yep
Ohio could be stolen by Democrat voter fraud just like 2008
Obama ad in southern Ohio hit Romney directly for hiding income taxes and then segued that into another attack on Romney raising taxes on the middle class by $2000. In short, Obama was HITTING Romney and hitting him hard.
The Romney ad within minutes was that Romney will restore jobs in Ohio, up to 400,000 or so jobs and not ship them overseas to China. The hit in the ad was mild and passed quickly to Romney’s unspecified plan to add jobs.
The ad afterwards was that Josh Mandel, pubbie Senatorial candidate was shipping jobs to China and couldn’t be trusted.
Let’s say that on a Punch scale we go 1 to 10 with 10 being highest. The Obama tax ad hit the Republicans at about an 8. There was room for viciousness and it didn’t achieve that.
The Romney hit meter went to about 4 maybe. It was a nice, mild ad.
The Democrat versus Mandel ad was a 9. It was cold-hearted.
So, the dems are throwing punches and the Romneys are throwing slaps.
I seriously question the strategy. If they don’t get around to throwing punches, he is going to lose in Ohio.
Lots of deep seated class envy in Ohio. The fact that Romney became rich in the private sector will turn off a significant sector of what normally would/could be GOP voters.
I usually chuckle at the morons who say “bad poll” “weekend poll” etc, but that Marist/NBC poll had it weighed +10 to Democrats. Do you really think Dem turnout and enthusiasm will be 25% higher in 12 than it was in 08? If you do, then it’s a good poll.
In all likelihood Romney is down 3-4 points in Ohio.
And Sherrod Brown statewide. There is definitely a red streak that runs through Ohio.
Union mental cases.
O is shamelessly gobbling up credit for Gov Kasick’s turn around of Ohio economy, and Kasich et al are just silent.
Maybe they are keeping their powder dry...
They both cannot be right. ONE of them has to be wrong. So who am I to believe the number 1 ranked or the number 15 ranked pollster?
Yep, at this point there are only two numbers that matter - OBAMA and UNDECIDED, because the UNDECIDED will go 100% to Romney. Obama is stuck at whatever number he is at while ROmney is actually Romney plus Undecided.
