Nour Party: Protests should continue, but away from embassies

The Salafi Nour Party issued a statement on Facebook today calling on demonstrators to stage peaceful protests away from embassies.

The statement comes against the backdrop of clashes between security forces and demonstrators who were protesting outside the US Embassy in Cairo against a film they say disparages Prophet Mohamed.

The party expressed deep regret for the clashes, but persisted in demanding prosecution of the producers of the film.

This could mean things are calming down after the islamists great victory in Benghazi on 9/11. The Cairo mobs did their job in providing cover for the Benghazi terrorists and they may now go home.

Security re-enforcements have arrived and the crowd appears to have at least momentarily pulled back a bit.
