NB: This isn’t the first I’ve known of Geer.
Man I hated this show when I was a kid. Mom always insisted we watch it for the “positive messages” but man it was dull for a kid. Same with Little House. Further review when I got older showed them to be not nearly as horrible as I remembered, but I never managed to like them, too many bad memories.

Ditto for Michael Landon. All full of family values on his TV show (that gets ratings), but a womanizer creep in real life.
If I looked like Michael Landon I might be a womanizer too.
