Washington, D.C. –U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer released the following statement Friday in response to the sequestration report issued by the Office of Management and Budget:
“There’s a one-word solution to the looming threat of these across-the-board cuts: revenues. The trigger was never meant to be activated, and we can avoid it as soon as Republicans get serious about a balanced deficit reduction plan.”

The dems cannot allow any cuts. That would be their doom. People would see that we can actually live with less government. And the people would want more of less.

You lying sack of donkey dung!!! You and the Liberals in CONgress intentionally pushed for those automatic cuts (nearly all the cuts being to Conservative causes - with the biggest being another $half billion cut to national defense). This was all 100% planned. There is no denying.
When the super committee (unconstitutional) met to try to make some real cuts and adjustments - the Republicans offered several viable and "fair" plans - all of which the Liberal Democrats thew out the window, then returning the favor with cuts that were worse than the automatic ones. There was NEVER a desire or hope to reconcile. The fact that the Republicans fell for the obvious booby trap is disgusting - and any Republican that was complicit deserves to be run out of office at the first available opportunity. But that being said, Mr. Upchuckie Schusniffer - you are a lying sack of donkey dung!
How many scatalogical words, terms, and phrases are there that mean “Schumer?” That dictionary is...well, quite thick.
