Hard to figure out what’s been going on here, halfway between Cleveland and Akron! 4 days ago, it was $4 a gallon. Yesterday, $3.85, and today $3.65. Fairly large swing, in a short time!

I’m pretty sure these skyrocketing gas prices are what is giving Barry his big “bump” in the recent “polls”. The morons living in this country love paying high gas prices because, Everybody Loves Barry.

I've been putting this sticker on gas pumps:
"Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the [$8-$10/gal] levels in Europe." - Barack Obama's Energy Secretary Steve Chu. Had enough yet???

I've sized mine to fit twelve to a sheet of easy to remove bumper sticker stock...
I will send a dozen stickers to anyone who FReepmails me their address.
I will send the Excel file to anyone who FReepmails me their email address, PROVIDED they promise to only use removable stock.

We just hit $3.999 here in Pa. But it’s all good, stimulus and all you know.

CNN:Why gas prices may have peaked
"All of the bad things we were really worried about don't look like they will happen," said Kevin Lindemer, an independent energy consultant that has worked for Irving Oil and Cambridge Energy Research Associates. "If we have an uneventful summer, there's nothing fundamental that should cause prices to go much higher."

Gas prices up. Unemployment at 8.1%, and over 11% if the participation rate was the same as it was in 2007. Country in debt for trillions with unsustainable entitlements. And, after spending trillions to fix the economy, the Fed just acknowledged it failed by passing QE3 to provide more stimulus.
And the stock market has skyrocketed through all of this. I don't get this at all.

Circumstances being what they are it would seem the price could be poised to go further through the roof here shortly.

Every time I fill up, and spend an extra $20 doing so, I console myself by considering it a campaign contribution to beat Obama. Believe me, people are aware of it..

My understanding (and if I am wrong, I am sure I will be corrected here by my FRiends -- hopefully in a kind way) is that the stock market is soaring not because the stocks are worth more but because it costs more of our overprinted, devalued dollars to buy them.

The last week in October 2008 gas at my local station had dropped down to $1.55 9/10.
We filled the cars and all the gas cans we could find.
It was still only around $1.80 when King Obama was coronated.
