Mars Curiosity Descent-Ultra HD 30 FPS Smooth-Motion Resolution So High Unable to Record Images
You Tube ^ | August 20, 2012 | NASA

While you might have seen the Curiosity Landing Video filmed in HD it was recorded at 25 FPS which was not quite as high definition as this one recorded at 30 FPS.

I wanted to post some images of the video but the resolution is so high I couldn't get photobucket to record the images. That's how good the resolution/clarity of this video is. Definitely worth looking at at 30FPS

An absolute feast for the eyes. I wanted to post some images from the video but the video was too high a resolution for images to be made. That's how clear the video is in ultra HD.

Definitely worth looking at.

Sunkenciv; I know you’ll love this video the resolution is ultra HD. Couldn’t get photobucket to make images of the video I wanted to post. The resolution of the video was higher than photobucket could handle. That’s how clear the video is in ultra HD at 30 FPS

Definitely worth looking at.

It’s not just merely the 8 bit resolution that was so enjoyable, it was the midi-background music that enhances the experience exponentially. I actually thought you were joking when you said you saw it at 8 bit but if you enjoyed it more than that’s just great.

I don't if you're mocking me or not but I tried posting images from the video the way I always do it, successfully so, that is, I take a screenshot of the video, make an image out of it and then upload it to photobucket or wherever, this process never failing me, until now. I made four attempts to get photobucket to upload the images made from this video but each time I got an error message, first time it ever happened.

Maybe my explanation was incorrect. I don't know why photobucket was unable to make images I tried uploading, gave me an error message each time.

Perhaps you might know why I couldn't upload the images to Photobucket. Perhaps I'm not as savvy, proficient in these things as you are.

I was not mocking you. I was trying to make a joke about it being high-resolution than real life.

Awesome resolution.
I have a problem though, my videos keep stopping
and starting. What causes that and how do I fix it.
Thanks t.

My wife and I had the same reaction. We were teens watching "One Small Step" so this is absolutely incredible.

I wish NASA weren't a Muslim Outreach program now.

I always wanted my retirement facility to be lunar.

Good thing it didn't end up as a millions of bits descent.

Very nice. It’s funny to read the comments and realize the total weight of morons in the world that a few smart people have to work against to get anything worthwhile done.

There are many numerous reasons for what you describe experiencing. My first inclination is that you have too many devices, applications running at the same time, many of which you don't need to be running especially when you're trying to view YouTube, a huge resource hog.

Start your task manager and shut down all, any extraneous applications, programs. You'll be shocked at what you've got running all at the same time. Shutting down these programs at least while you watch the video, will do a lot in freeing up you computer for a better viewing experience.

Also, Firefox is a huge resource hog and if you're like most people you've loading yourself down with add ons, extensions. Delete the ones you hardly use, disable those you need most and re-enable when the situation arises.

Your best bet for smooth, trouble-free viewing is probably Google Chrome. It runs much lower on your computer's resources but again, don't load yourself down with too many extensions.

Please let me know how you've made out, if my suggestions made any difference.
