The Principle of Occam’s Razor:

The most useful statement of the principle for scientists is:

“When you have two competing theories that make exactly the same predictions, the simpler one is the better.”

Or: “Keep things simple”

In the case of the many anomalies in Obama’s claimed history, without proof of the many convoluted and tortured explanations, the simplest explanation is that he is a fraud and a shyster.

Well since there are usually more than two competing theories, Occam’s Razor is usually stated as “The simplest explanation is most often the correct one.”
