We saw a vehicle last week (north of Houston, TX) with “Police” written all over it, and with “Department of Homeland Security” in small letters on the front fender area.

"Fuller version of trailer provided by Jyotoshi: "

Thanks for the comeback, and thanks for the links. But, again, there seems to be much more available on the trailer than on the actual movie, which really seems to be a movie (film) rather than a video.

Which also raises a whole host of other questions/issues:
Where has this film been viewed (what venues), and how often has it been screened? Seen by whom? And how many? Has it been viewed and written up by critics? In what theaters has it been screened? In what publications have the reviews been printed. To whom have the box office receipts been reported? What company is syndicating and controlling the future release dates of the film?

To whom does this film belong, and what are the nationalities of the principals involved in its production (the actors, the script writers, the production staff, the stage hands, the scenery designers, the costume designers, and all the other personnel involved in making a film)?

The production of the film was done in what country? To what government will the revenues and the tax consequences be reported?

All these figures compiled and computed by whom?

I smell a very large rat. This has the feel of a put-up job. Forgive my skepticism. I've been lied to, much too often.

Thanks for the courtesy of your reply.

Please be aware that I understand you are under no obligation to respond.

Loosen up with the legal notices. Not needed here. The film is obviously American-made on the cheap cheap cheap, as in a few nerds with a camcorder. No box office. The producer is a jailbird who did a year for check kiting and was on probation and forbidden to go on the Internet for five years. He lives in LA. Now the feds are grilling him on the basis of an alleged violation of that term of his probation. The film caught the interest of Reverend Terry Jones in Florida, famous for burning a Koran, or threatening to, I forget which. He might back the full production, but Gen. Dempsey is trying to persuade him not to.

Loosen up with the legal notices.

What does that mean?

The film is obviously American-made on the cheap cheap cheap,

What makes the “film” obviously American-made? Does that mean made in America? Or made by Americans? That it is made “on the cheap” is obvious. That it is pitifully amateurish is likewise obvious.

as in a few nerds with a camcorder.

Really? Define “Nerd.” Is that a foolish or contemptible person lacking social skills? Or a boringly studious person lacking social skills? Is it a fact that only “Nerds” are capable of producing unbelievably amateurish videos on the cheap cheap? Or, is an ignorant ape of most any description likewise up to the task?

No box office.

Oh. So, it’s not a genuine filmmaking effort (however laughingly amateurish), unlike Moore’s equally inept propaganda effort Bowling for Columbine. Moore’s film at least had the virtue of being competently produced. But, this one: no screenings; no critics’ write-ups; no screening venues; no audience reactions; no box office results; no professional personnel; no go . . . functional failure (the reason for my inquires having nothing to do with “legal notices”). Likewise, then, one must doubt the authenticity of the “actors” who complain of being deceived.

Not a “film” then, but nothing more than an inferior video of dubious parentage, made for suspect motives.

The producer is a jailbird . . .

Yeah . . . and Roman Polanski is a confessed pedophile and a fugitive from justice. So, what?

“ . . . who did a year for check kiting and was on probation and forbidden to go on the Internet for five years . . .
Now the feds are grilling him on the basis of an alleged violation of that term of his probation.

Which has nothing to do with his “film” (video). The subject won’t even come up?

The film caught the interest of Reverend Terry Jones in Florida, famous for burning a Koran, or threatening to, I forget which.

The Reverend Terry Jones has too much time on his hands (he threatened to burn a Qur’an).

He might back the full production

The Reverend Terry Jones definitely has too much time on his hands.

This whole caper is as queer as a three dollar bill.
