Reporting and the fog of war being what they are, initial details are often faulty. No matter what subterfuge was used, I’m willing to let my contempt for the enemy coexist with a healthy respect for his capabilities and resourcefulness.
Clint Eastwood is a favorite actor of mine, particularly after the convention speech, but judging military events based on Hollywood films is less helpful than speculating on enemy capabilities and methods, IMHO.
