Obama vs. the First Amendment
National Review ^

Democrats and their sharky Obamedia defense lawyers are in a snit. For three dreamy convention days in Charlotte, they told themselves that, for the first time in decades, it was their guy who had the upper hand when it came to national security. Now that bubble has burst, the way contrived narratives do when they crash into concrete challenges. At that point, an airy president of the world won’t do; we need to have a president of the United States, a job that has never suited, and has never been of much interest to, Barack Obama.

Defense against foreign enemies is the primary job of the president of the United States. The rationale for the office’s creation is national defense — not green venture capitalism, not rationing medical care, not improving the self-image of the “Muslim world,” not leaving no child behind, not blowing out the Treasury’s credit line. Yet, though we are entering the late innings, foreign policy and national defense have not been factors in the 2012 campaign.

It is weird that every time a Republican is in the White House, the “polls” tell us that foreign policy is at the bottom of the list of “issues” concerning the “voters”. Now that we’ve got a Marxist Kenyan in the White House, foreign policy jumps to the top of the list. What’s up with that?

Problem is this. When you talk to an independent voter about this stuff they roll their eyes and say: "if there were a real problem surely Speaker John Boehner would have seen it to be as serious as you claim it is. And what about former President Bush, as much as he respects the Presidency, you would think he would be concerned if what you claim were true."

There is no longer a 1st. Amendment. Anything you say now is considered hate speech and against the law.

Obama vs. the First Amendment

The only part of The Constitution 0bama has shown any affection for is the 16th Amendment - Income Tax; other than that, he had effectively declared The Constitution Null and Void!

Question: How are his actions different than those of a DICTATOR?
