Also, most of the photos I’ve seen we’re taken from the front, but there is one back-view photo that appeared early on where you could clearly see that part of his intestines were hanging out through what appeared to be a hole in his lower back

where are you finding these pictures. I have looked over the internet for other pics and vids and have not found them.
Just after this happened, some one posted a lot of photos ... Gleaned from I know not where...and this was among them. Look back through the very earliest threads.
