Just come out and admit it. You want Obama to win. You are busy doing everything you can to propagandize for Obama

You are so pissed off that your candidate lost the GOP nomination, you want to “punish” the GOP by actively working to defeat them because they did not do what YOU wanted.

Your hurt feelings are more important to you then the good of the county.

So dress it up any way you want, that is what is REALLY going on. You can squeal all you want about “political principal” but the fact remains it all about your feelings.

Politico jumped the shark years ago. I strongly agree with you.
They’re not news—they are a propaganda outlet.

However, that means that they take advantage of any negative news that does come out.

I’m defensive because I’m angry with the way things are being done in the Romney campaign and I want to win, and I want the marxist defeated.

If they are actually going to publish original words to a speech that were cut out — I’m interested to know in what was cut out and why. Was there conservative stuff in there that the McCainoids on the staff didn’t want? And if so, they should be fired.

How is not agreeing with campaign strategy & infighting a vote for Obama? Is Drudge voting for Obama because they posted their knowledge on Politico?

Should we win, I wouldn’t be against a little in-your-face gloating to those very same journalists.

Okay, maybe more than a little. Those SOB’s have it coming in spades.

Curiously interesting.

A similar thing — infighting — happened (according to the Media) inside the McCain-Palin camp.

Speaking ex-cathedra from my belly button, I would be surprised if there was not some serious infighting going on between the RINOs and the Conservatives in the Romney campaign. And there dang well should be.

Romney does have some serious Conservative firepower in his corner, and he’s obviously listening to some others who would be willing to come onboard if he would stop dicking around and open up a 10 gallon can of whupazz.

But Romney himself and his inner circle are mostly RINOs — who believe that in the post convention stage, it’s time to swing to the Center to bring the Independents onboard. That’s “conventional wisdom,” accepted as a fact of life, and therefore should be considered totally bogus.

There is only one way Mittens is going to win this thing, and so far he is not doing it. He has to convince the Tea Party that he is worth supporting.

Right now, most are still at the hold-nose-and-vote point, and that is not going to cut it.

Why? Because I posted something that I saw on the Drudge Report?

Or just because you think we shouldn’t criticize people that are running the Romney campaign that possibly edited his speech to make it appear less conservative?

I agree. This is why I have a problem with folks like Charlie Black that ran McCain’s campaign. What on earth are they doing running this one?

I wonder if the same Romney operatives who screwed Sarah Palin and McCain over in 2008 will accomplish the same thing only on the Romney campaign this time for their real “Paymasters”.

No, you insinuated it from the first post on. But you can have that opinion that everything within Romneyworld is hunky dory, and any dissenters that want the candidate to run as a conservative are trolls.

We should be up 20 points in this economy and the radical liberalism

Don't believe the polls. They were wrong in 2004. They were wrong in 2010. They are manipulations of the ones who commission them.

I’ll give you the benefit of doubt. I just feel if the incumbent is more or less tied with a challenger 8 weeks out from the election and the incumbent can’t clear 50, then Romney wins by default.

Not the cleanest win but a win nonetheless. Strategery can always be this or that but no spin can cover up basics of 16 trillion in debt, Obamacare, $4.00 gasoline (don’t tell the fed - they think there is no inflation) and 15 to 16% true unemployment/underemployment. All these factors weigh on people’s minds more on a day to day basis than whatever strategist complains to Politico. IMO, this is pure inside the beltway propaganda and doesn’t relate to how people feel about this election as far as I can tell.

"The Romney campaign has to push back on these kind of things and stop letting the left-wing press set the narratives."

How do you 'stop letting the left-wing press set the narratives'. Politico can publish anything it wants; it's lame noobs who provide the echo chamber...

I do tend to trust Rasmussen though (as they were most accurate in 08), and they’ve shown the ‘convention bounce’ dissipated. And that’s good news.
