Over the past 48 hours we have written much, describing the perfectly expected surge in nationalist fervor and anti-Japanese sentiment, as the Senkaku Islands Snafu hits its boiling point....

Instead we'll let the pictures do the talking.

“Wow, Chinese Americans finally display big time nationalism, very patriotic.”

Like the West Coast Japanese in 1941?

To which nation are these “Chinese Americans” actually displaying their “loyalty”?

This ought to make those who consider Asians “the model minority” to step back for a moment and think things over...

Is “assimilation” working for Asians in North America, or.... ??

Maybe Obama should take Beyonce and Jayzee with him. They seem to be quite important in his world.

“Wow, Chinese Americans finally display big time nationalism, very patriotic.”

Let me fix that for you:

Wow, Chinese Americans finally display big time Chinese nationalism, very unpatriotic.....China first, America....eeerrr, last?

(I know, it was probably inferred)

It was sarcastic of course.

The display is for Communist China no less, I know that they have done very well here, they are, or used to be the wealthiest group in America, but assimilation was never on their list.

In the end, nationhood always comes down to race.

“In the end, nationhood always comes down to race.”

Or, actually, faith, something that was held in-common regardless of some doctrinal differences.

I’ll have to find a link, but, all save one of the Colonel’s in Continental Army were presbyters.

The main problem here is that the Chinese military is well aware they can't stand up to the Japanese in a fight, but the Chinese populace is not.

Well maybe the mob will be satisfied by the government clsiming victory

China claims 'success' in patrolling disputed islands

China says six boats sent to disputed islands at the centre of a row with Japan were ''successful'' in patrols to show Beijing's jurisdiction there.

The statement comes after protests spread to dozens of Chinese cities.

China sent the boats to the islands, called Diaoyu in China and Senkaku in Japan, after Tokyo sealed a deal to buy three of the islands.

But if it's a policing war, the Japanese Coast Guard has more than enough ships to continue to match every Chinese Coast Guard ship with a bigger, faster, and better armed Japanese one.

The Chinese have no chance of winning unless they skip the prelimimaries and open the conflict by smothering Okinawa with CJ-10 land attack cruise missiles. That might involve the US and lead to complications.

If China moves—Obama will do noting—they own us—if they call in their notes we are bankrupt.

Chinese control less than 10% of our Debt.

We control more than 65 percent of their consumer market.

Who controls who?

I suspect that in large part it isn’t so much a show of Chinese nationalism as it is of hatred of the Japanese.

are people going to be labeled an ‘enemy’ because we drive particular cars?

Crap, I hope not. I have two older chevys, a GMC, a Dodge, a Chrysler, a Lincoln, a Ford, an International, and a Toyota on the pavement, and then there are motorcycles...

If brand names were going to determine my enemies, I'd either have lots of friends, or I'd have to let God sort 'em out.

The Chinese could STOP picking up or notes or loaning us money—the USA would fall.

China would fall as well. It is an excellent thought experiment to think about what happens if the United States collapses economically, politically, and militarily. The entire globe would follow in my humble opinion.
