Republicans Will Win because We Know What's at Stake

The Romney election team has decided the most effective course to re-election is through centrist voters. They have chosen to contrast Romney's effectiveness versus the nation's disappointed hopes in Obama. That may be the right approach to win the small handful of swing voters. But that isn't why we will win this election.

We will win because conservatives know what is at stake and we know we can't afford to lose. That is why the Tea Party base is going to work their butts off to get out the vote. That is how we took back the House in 2010. It is how Ted Cruz won the Senate nomination in Texas, though he started out 2% in the polls. It is how a career politician like Richard Lugar was replaced by Richard Mourdock in Indiana. It is why Paul Ryan has generated more enthusiasm than Romney. It's why we have elected a younger generation of stunningly excellent deficit-hawk governors whom conservative voters are jazzed about.

The Republican establishment, the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, and self-promoting light-weights don't want the public to be informed about who Obama is. It is too creepy and too awful. Few people are willing to say those hard truths about our first black president. It isn't nice. It doesn't make you look moderate.

Thanks to the politicized mainstream media misrepresenting the real Obama, he has a strong shot at re-election. They know that the more people learn about Obama, the more he is a turn-off. So they have made sure the majority of voters don't know. They have made sure people are afraid of being labeled racist even for listening to the information that is available.

Happily, even added all together, the old opinion-makers don't have the monopoly on the public sphere, not any more.

My brother (at right) sent me this pic from Mike Knowles' "Blown Money" team from this weekend's IHRA event in Charlotte. Check out that front quarterpanel!

Maybe it’s going to take the country crashing during Obama’s second term for them to get the message. If they haven’t gotten it now, nothing short of collapse will get it through their heads.

Having never been to a car race...I wish they’d take a poll at the races by driving a car around with an Obama yard sign and then Romney/Ryan and see who gets the greatest cheers!! Maybe we’d see that polls are swayed...

RE: But do the voters know whats at stake or even care.

According to a recent Gallup survey: Gallup: Economic Conservatives Outnumber Economic Liberals 46% to 20%

See here:

That the race is this close tells me that a lot of so-called conservatives aren’t even planning to vote.

It will take the welfare checks stopping to get their attention. When the government can no longer afford to pay the underclass to stay home and eat twinkies... Then they'll get the idea.

And not one moment sooner.

History has shown this time and again. From Rome to Greece...

We've been saying it for decades. It isn't enough for us to have someone to vote AGAINST. We need someone to vote FOR.

A NorthEast-liberal RINO is not anyone we want to vote for, no matter how much we all want to vote against our current Marxist/treasonous POTUS...

Based on only the failures of this administration, this election SHOULD sweep all progressives out of office.

However, SHOULD is the operative word. I cannot fathom the thought process, or lack thereof, of liberals when it comes to what these communists hiding behind the progressive label are doing to this country.

You can give them a litany of 100% provable facts and it is like speaking to a door knob.

If it cannot fit on a bumper sticker, you have lost the debate as it seems their comprehension of any fact cannot exceed 4 words.

We are witnessing the demise of this country on so many fronts it seems highly unlikely it will survive.

The country cannot possibly continue absorbing a higher percentage of 3rd world people and strictly limiting quality immigrants and expect to prosper.

The country cannot possible continue to have our government schools flooded and infested with communist union teachers for multiple generations and expect the citizens to know why we used to be so great.

The country cannot possibly continue with a media so infested with liberal brainwashed storm troopers of thought police and survive.

The polls tell us we are in deep trouble as no president or those in his party should be doing so well with the country doing so poorly.

They know that the more people learn about Obama, the more he is a turn-off.

Amen the last thing in the world the liberals want out is the truth.
Obama is their key to keep the agenda on track, legal drugs, abortion, more welfare, free medical.......

Apparently they care more about Honey Boo Boo than what happened at either convention.

What a powerful and encouraging article. I loved this part:

“The Tea Party in my small western town has volunteered to help get Josh Mandel elected in Ohio. We will help Romney win Ohio.”

I pray so. Oh, how I pray so. If early on Election evening, they call Ohio and Virginia for Romney; it’s over. I’m confident he will carry Florida. With OH and VA, it could be a landslide by the time the night is over.
