this is not the place to get interest in the pennant races. why is that? I am the only baseball glutton left in the world? Reminds me of a time the Red Sox were in the playoffs in ‘99. I left work on my lunch hour and went to a bar for 2 hours to catch the game. Expecting an enthused crowd. Nobody was in the bar! Nobody cared. The number of real baseball fans must be at an all-time low. It ain’t football.
I was planning on Fenway on SAT and the Bronx on SUN, but I’m too stressed about a project, so no baseball for me. Maybe NYM vs. Pirates on THUR, but that game is looking meaningless now. Wait til next year to try again.
Unlike with football the current national pastime I think people mostly care about their own teams in baseball. If you’re in Red Sox country I can understand a lack of local interest. With the extra wildcards I’d figure nationwide that interest is up.
White Sox are blowing it big time, no offense lately. Thank God MINN swept a doubleheader in D-town yesterday.
I suggest you watch South Park's Douche and Turd episode. It answers that question as only South Park could.
All the GOP had to do to get my vote was to nominate a conservative candidate.
