Whether Obama is ...in over his head, ... As a result of his incompetence,

If The Won were "in over his head" or "incompetent", he would occasionally, just by accident, make a decision that benefits this country.

Since he never has made a decision that benefited this country (or announced one that he got via the BlackBerry), it's not "incompetence".

It's a malevolent hatred of Freedom and Western Civilization in general and this country in particular.

Exactly, I’m so tired of hearing he is stupid, incompetent, etc. My God, he told us what he was going to do as president! I listened, did research. This has always been his plan to make America a 3rd world country...this is what he wanted...

Exactly.

How can the author state, Obama’s foreign policy goal is to level out the global playing field, so America has declining influence in the world.

And then, As a result of his incompetence, Obama is making America and the world a less safer place?

There is no incompetence. A caliphate from Morocco to at least Iran is emerging, just as Hussein intended. Oh, and there is no room for Israel in the caliphate. Adios.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the left has a sort of “eschatology” of their own.

Their ideology is based on covetousness, and the worst, most evil form of it. That of not actually wanting what “the rich” have, but just wanting it taken away from “the rich” so they don’t/can’t have it.

Following this most base of human desires, their eschatology has to do with, after an economic crash, that everyone will have to suffer equally, including “the rich”. This, to them, is preferable to having a comfortable, prosperous life, but “allowing” other people to keep their “more”.
