Romney is starting to sound like he’s lobotomized himself.
If a Republican makes statements that are so bland and boring TV viewers rush to hit their remotes to zap him out, does he really make a sound?
- Thomas Sowell
Dang, I love Dr. Sowell's clarity!
This is pure Sowell. I’ve sent it to my Congressman and Senator (only Rubio- not Nelson!).
ALL of us would be well served to send this to our GOP government officials. Then call and ask if they’ve read it yet. Next week, call again...
Thomas Sowell discusses his essay Trickle Down Theory and Tax Cuts for the Rich. with Peter Robinson of Uncommon Knowledge.
If Thomas Sowell ran for president, he couldn't get 10% of the Black vote.
That's because Black Americans - just like Hispanic Americans - don't vote skin color.
They vote their Hard Left political principles.
But when’s the last time you heard a serious GOP presidential candidate talk about that?
Probably never.
Most Republican candidates can't talk because they don't really believe in Conservative principles.
Compare that to the Democratic Party leadership which is - literally - animated by their passion for Hard Left principles.
Margaret Thatcher - where are you when we need you?
Another good article.
On the other hand, they are quite tough when the subject is Todd Akin or Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann. :)
Well of course not....
The whole point is to intimidate then emasculate your opponent so in the end there is no opposition and you win...
Pretty damn obvious and nefarious.
So pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...
Nothing but smoke and mirrors....
I love Sowell’s writing, I think he’s wrong on this score:
a) Paul Ryan is fantastically articulate and will do well for conservatives in this season. He can make a fool out of the left very easily.
b) Romney is a pit bull in a debate and will make mincemeat out of Obunga. He’s too soft on the opposition because he wants to be “polite” - but his ability to articulate is far better than McCain’s was.
I do a better job taking down leftists than our elected Republicans and those at the RNC.
I do miss the days Newt Gingrich ran the House and had Republicans sharpen their debate skills on the House Floor.
Watching them on CSPAN was enlighting.
