The damning video of Mitt Romney telling a room of wealthy donors how he really feels about the freeloading 47 percent of Americans "who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it," among other candid things, has been floating around online in bits and pieces for three months, but didn't hit the big time until it was published by David Corn at Mother Jones today. Credited as a "research assistant" on the story is James Carter IV, the grandson of former President Jimmy Carter, who has been toiling online as an opposition researcher and is "currently looking for work," according to his Twitter bio. "I've been searching for clips on Republicans for a long time, almost every day," said Carter this evening. "I just do it for fun." But by connecting Corn with the mysterious uploader of the clip, Carter has uncovered his biggest story yet, one that could potentially affect the outcome of the election. (And get him a job.)
Carter told Daily Intel that he first noticed a portion of the video in which Romney discusses using Chinese labor while working at Bain Capital. That clip, uploaded by a YouTube user named "RomneyExposed" in late May, and then again in late August by an account called "Rachel Maddow" that has since been deleted, eventually made it to Buzzfeed and Daily Kos.*

how bout Romney just toss entire video out there..the video FOX is playing on Obama ..shows he is promising tax dollar bribes for votes. thats a lot worse than writing off votes although I dont think Romney should write off votes..its no nearly as damning as what Obama did and still does.

I'm sure they will try to spring more buried "surprises" next month as the election nears.
In 2000, when the Pravda Media leaked reports of GW Bush's decades old DWI charge, it clearly cost him a few points in the polls (had it come out earlier, it wouldn't have had a lasting effect). It came out on the eve of the election. He lost the national popular vote by 0.51% (half a percent) to Al Gore Junior. So much for the Goron's "noble victory".

Is anything secret now adays especially when running for President? Romney should either not think things are secret or say them in public. Free Republic was having a field day with Kate Middleton because she was on vacation with her husband and went topless....they said that she should have known better than do this as a public figure. Romney should learn that lesson as well. Lucky for us, he didn’t say anything stupid.

The 47 % of Voters who pay NO Personal Federal Income Tax have been put on notice that the Free Stuff, no pay zone will get smaller with Romney.
Sad thing is that by playing around on Google and YouTube in mom’s basement this clown might actually land a paying gig as a Journ-O-List.
I’m trying to work up some outrage at Romney’s remarks from back in May. I had heard the figure was 49% Government dependents and now Romney says it’s only 47%. That actually pepped me up a bit because that 2% difference could actually win the election and send Obama back to Chi-town.
A couple of things to note:
1) Since they’ve been sitting on this since May, they intended it as an ambush in October.
2) They released it early because of the events of last week that were so devastating to 0bama.
3) They, looking through their liberal/socialist worldview lens, actually think this is damning.
4) And, as you say, if this is “all they got”, they are indeed in trouble.
The perpetual left-wing spin by the MSM is destroying any semblance of genuine political discourse in the U.S. Yes, some 47% of the American population is pure socialist. They'll never vote for anyone who might threaten their "right" to get free stuff from taxes paid by the 53%.
The real problem is that Obamugabe is trying to "grow" that 47% into a decisive majority that can win any future election. He must be stopped.
Great, this latest champion of moochers — who doesn’t want a real job, btw, only a mooch’s job (else he’d look for a real job) — is scandalized that Mitt Romney would say moochers aren’t entitled anything for free, except air. Just like all the rest of us.
Forty-seven percent seem to be awfully strident about it when they’re bellowing that the rest of us OWE them a living. No humility or gratitude about it whatsoever. Just menace. What do we say to that and when do we say it?

As a member of the 22% not paying taxes because I live off of SS and my savings, I can candidly say that Mitt Romney can go fuck himself.
