Your posting is reassuring.
Paul Ryan was in Roanoke last week and he’s coming to Danville (western VA near NC border) this week. This region is heavy R/R so he is coming to fund raise and also to gin up the faithful. But he should hit central and northern VA as well.
Although No. VA is full of government workers (direct and contract based), those that are with the military or rely on the military are not very enthused about potential military cuts related to the budget impasse and they’re blaming that on Obama.
Does anyone know if Ras is using the 2008 election model or has he switched to 2012 yet? Paul Ryan will be in Danville tomorrow.
Too funny!
VA Ping!
If you want on/off the VA Ping List, please freepmail me. Thanks!

2% undecided is very low.
You’ll like this even more. Here is a ground report from Haymarket Day which I took part in this past Saturday in Prince William County. I posted this on Sunday. We are seeing this type of behavior at event after event here. Get out and volunteer. It works and there is plenty of enthusiasm which the media is trying to quash. I had some good old time fine fun busting on some of Obozo’s minions who are becoming hysterical like the media is. Enjoy:
“Romney is surging in Northern VA. I was out at city fair this weekend and marched in a parade. There were only 12 Obozo supporters that marched in the parade compared to 200+ for Romney/Ryan and the rest of the GOP. There were thousands of people there and the GOP booth was mobbed. We gave away all the signs and bumper stickers and had to send people to the campaign HQ to get the materials. Signed up lots of volunteers and requests for billboards.
The Obozo faction had very few supporters stop by and it was fun to see how dejected they were. So much for the media propaganda.”
I really doubt if Raz polls the Swing States daily. Could be but I doubt it.
OTOH, his National Poll is definitely daily and is then averaged over 3 days.
Good catch. Here's one from yesterday, and it's a little more reassuring.
I see a few Obozo and/or Kaine bumper stickers and lawn signs in the West End and more when I have to head closer to downtown Richmond. However, I see a lot more NOBAMA stickers and the like on the South side.
SO glad I moved to Virginia from the Peoples Democratic State of Maryland!
I was at the D.C. Big Flea Market at the Expo in Chantilly Sat, I remember 4 years ago Oboomu stickers on cars everywhere, saw just 1. Of course only saw 2 Rommey sticker, but my wife I agree it’s because of fear of getting your car keyed most of us work in D.C and MD.
Frow what I understand Prince William County was key to the Messiah’s victory in 2008, don’t think it’s going to him this year

"Did Muslim Vote In Virginia Swing Senate Control?" (Nov 2006)
'The Detroit Free Press reports Muslims played a critical role in the November midterm elections.'
Imam Mahdy Bray, Speaking at a Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America convention in Dearborn, highlighted the effective effort to turn out Muslim voters in Virginia:
The effort was so organized that Muslim taxi drivers in northern Virginia took the day off to ferry Muslims to the polls, said Imam Mahdy Bray, a speaker at the convention. Volunteers also made phone calls to Muslims in Virginia to urge them to vote, he said.
As a result, Democrat James Webb ousted incumbent Republican George Allen by about 9,000 votes in a race in which 50,000 Muslims went to the polls -- 47,000 of them voting for Webb, Bray said.
For my money Senator Allen gets all the credit for running a losing campaign. Nevertheless, if 96 percent of Muslims are going to vote Democratic, that would make them a more reliable Democratic constituency than African Americans. Democrats consistently receive only about 90 percent of African American votes.

Count me in, Mr Apple!
Raz covers the third party thing by allowing “somebody else.” This year, “somebody else” covers a multitude of sins. Johnson, Goode and Stein. Anyway, at this time, 1 percent of Virginians are saying they’re going to vote for “somebody else.” Given the enormity of the matter, I think it’ll be less than one-half of 1 percent. In fact, I look at the third party voters in the battleground as a secret source of strength for our guy. In the end, most of them will do what they have to do to save the Republic.

Wife and I were at the neighborhood art show and farmers market in Richmond proper (Forest Hills area) over the weekend and I saw maybe three cars with Obama stickers. Four years ago the place would have been full of Obama stickers, T-shirts etc. Conversely, in our more conservative area in Midlothian (North Chesterfield county) in 2008 there were a fair number of Obama stickers seen daily. Pretty rare now.
Good Mr Banker, Bump!
