I have no problem with civil unions. A legal concept that should bestow the same rights and/or benefits that is conferred on a married couple.

But I am adamantly opposed to using the word "marriage" because it has a definitive etymology definition that is "union of a man and a woman".

A dolphin may look very much like a fish.....but it isn't a fish.
