A group of Congressional leaders released a copy of a letter sent to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder expressing “concern” about the possible release of Omar Abdel Rahman following a report by TheBlaze that the U.S. State Department has held internal discussions about whether to consider a request from Egypt to transfer custody of the so-called Blind Sheikh, the radical Islamist cleric convicted in connection with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing,
“We are concerned about recent reports that the Obama administration is considering the release of Oma Abdel-Rahman … to the custody of Egypt for humanitarian and health reasons,” the letter begins. “If these reports are true, such considering would be extremely disconcerting as release of this convicted terrorist should not happen for any reason.”

Last night, TheBlaze spoke with Rep. Louie Gomert (R-TX) specifically about the reported request made by the Egyptian government. When asked how the U.S. should respond to a request to release or transfer custody of the blind sheik, Gormert responded:
“We’re not entertaining anything from you until you get your country under control and stop this inflaming of the attacks against America.”
That should have been the response… But we have a very weak president that thinks if he can just give away enough money and just give enough apologies that they’ll end up loving us… and these people not only do not love you for making apologies for things you shouldn’t, they develop contempt… just like a bully on the schoolyard does if he beats you up and you apologize to him and give your lunch money. He doesn’t love you.

I have sat in the same courtroom as the Blind Sheikh during his trial......I went in to watch some of the proceedings and lasted less then 5 minutes. When I walked out of the courtroom the DUSM on duty asked why I was already leaving since I’d wanted to come in so bad.....well, as I told him, I’ve never been in a room with so much evil that you could feel it.....I never walked back down there again.... I hope the SOB rots in jail but after today, I’m extremely worried that that POS is getting ready to be released, much like the TWA bomber was released to die (yeah, right) in Libya. I’m disgusted!
if Romney was SMART he would back obama into a corner and DEMAND that obama come out today and tell the American people under no circumstances would he EVER release this guy...its win-win for Romney...

On his way out the door in January 2012 Obama will issue a pardon to the Blind Sheikh and most of the other muslim detainees in Guantanimo.
He will also take care of Bernanke, Holder, Napolitano and the rest of his crooked cabinet.

Oh, you can bet the farm that obama wi;; release him. It is just a matter of time. The only thing that will prevent his release is that he dies a death of natural causes before his release. Whether his release will be secret or public, I can’t say, but knowing the obama regime I can say that if the muslims want it, he will be released.
I expect the media will spin this to show the Republicans' lack of compassion for the visually-impaired.

I’m going to write to every Representative on this list and thank him or her. We need to let them know that the people of the USA are watching and we are aware of this and we do NOT want this evil person either released or “transferred.”
