The Justice Department's inspector general cleared Attorney General Eric Holder Wednesday of knowing about the gun-walking operation known as Fast and Furious that allowed thousands of weapons to cross into Mexico.
But Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded that there were "serious failures" at both the Justice Department and its Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives going back more than six years, CBS Radio News reporter Stephanie Lambidakis reports.
Horowitz found that no one running the operations—not agents, nor prosecutors, nor managers—questioned the wisdom of letting guns vanish across the border with Mexico, where they ended up in the hands of drug traffickers. …
In his 471-page report, Horowitz referred more than a dozen people for possible department disciplinary action for their roles in Fast and Furious and a separate, earlier probe known as Wide Receiver, undertaken during the George W. Bush administration. …

MSM is whitewashing by concentrating only on Holder (who may be pinpointed if the EO is overturned).
The Bush era program they always cite isn’t the same on a variety of levels. One important distinction is that Bush and co put GPS devices on the guns and Obama and co didn’t. Obama and co weren’t as interested in finding the guns and criminals as they were in promoting a radical anti-gun agenda.

Bush steadfastly REFUSED to investigate and prosecute criminal acts perpetrated by Clintoon and his gang of thieves and thugs.
If Romney wins and he DOES NOT investigate and PROSECUTE these criminals, there may be riots in the streets.
Holder belongs in an orange jump suit and shackles. And if he does jail that criminal, and Holder’s Peepls takes to da street, they should all be rounded up and jailed for a long, long time.

In other words, the Government shows that a totally separate and independent entity comprised of the Citizens is needed to over see the Government since they just proved that they are corrupt beyond words.
This is going to get VERY ugly before it gets any better. This kind of crap is NOT going to be tolerated. If Congress won’t do the job, maybe the American Citizens will have to. There will be accountability, there will be punitive repeals of gun laws and there will be much more than a slap on the wrist. OR ELSE.
Our whole government has become the mob. Republicans and democrats alike. Mob-like threats to keep people silent, deaths, pay offs -just like the mob.
The media couldn’t be bothered to report on the actual scandal for over a year, but they are johnny on the spot when it comes to reporting that Holder has been “cleared” by his subordinate.
You clear your boss of any wrong doing, just the honest thing to do. And of course he’ll probably get a spot award for doing such a good and speedy job with the investigation and maybe even a step increase or and additional bonus at the end of his rating year.
This may be the last election I participate in should Obama win. Nationally, we'll be decimated- locally we may still have a chance. As a taxpayer, I resent paying for this corruption.
We should set-up an escrow account to send our tax obligations and only allow it to be forwarded to the IRS when and if the Constitution is followed, not one minute sooner. If they want the money, they shut down every goddam agency and program that violates any of the bill of rights- especially those that usurp state's rights.
Dept. of Education- gone, Dept. of Energy- gone, and there are many more that need to be gotten rid of. Obamacare- shitcanned. See? that was easy! Each and everyone of the 20,000 gun laws that restrict (infringe) on the 'right to keep and bear arms' get shredded or these bastards go broke- faster than they currently on target to anyway.
