ROBBINSVILLE A Robbinsville police officer was arrested last night after breaking into a family's apartment and assaulting a mother in a wheelchair and her 4-year-old son, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said today.
Authorities say they have no idea why Sgt. Mark Lee, an 18-year department veteran, burst into the apartment at Project Freedom, a home for people with disabilities on Hutchinson Road. Knocking the woman from her wheelchair, Lee also allegedly went after the boy and assaulted him as well.
He went berserk, the father said of Lee this afternoon. He broke in the house, knocked her down, tried to get on top of her.
Then he grabbed my grandchild," he said. The officer said, "I want the boy, I want the boy.'"

Bath Salts again?
Glad the victims didn’t have a dog.
This is off topic but “Project Freedom”?! There’s a section 8 housing area in NC called “Optimist Park”. Across the street is “Optimist Field” and “Optimist Rec Center”. All is apparently for the “Optimists” that live and sponge off of tax payers there. I’ve been driving by this place for the past 10 years and see the same people sitting on their front porches doing nothing.
So the gummit gives these places names of “hope”, yet want nothing more than lifetime dependancy. I guess the names were designed to make tax payers feel better about our “investment”.
She obviously made a video disparaging the police and posted it on youtbe.
Roid rage? Does he work out? Body build? Most cops do. But do most take ‘roids?
“I want the boy”....NAMBLA?
They're Hoping for Change: "Even a quarter would help, mister. I needs 25c more for bus fare."
stupid cops are all on steroids
Holy Moly, there’s even more to the story, more craziness!
From the article: He took his clothes off, gun, uniform, and pants, and tried to jump out the window, [a witness] said....
While he was being [after arrest], Lee allegedly kicked out a rear window of a patrol car and escaped. Officers chased him down and took him back into custody after a struggle, the prosecutor’s office said.”
He must have been on drugs, or something! Pretty scary to have a man break into your house and just try and run off with your child.
Why would a cop be taking any drugs that might cause him to go off like that? It says he’s an 18 year member of the force, it’s not like he’s some young guy. He’s got to be at least 40 years old.
Bath salt zombie.
Lucky he didn’t eat anyones face.
He behaved like that because he’s an a-hole. He lasted 18 years on the police force because his mangement is made up of a-holes too. There’s a trend there.
I keep thinking about that pilot who went nuts while in flight a couple of months ago. And I remember the experiments our government was conducting on “volunteers” during and after WWII. Put the two together and I believe we’re being messed with.
*yikes*
You literally made me spew on my keyboard
I guess he didn’t have any available family dogs to shoot.
Typical donut-muncher.
Someone there should have cracked a Louisville Slugger over his head.
Is that where the giant robot Optimist Prime lives?
He lasted 18 years on the police force because his mangement union is made up of a-holes too.
