Virginia is bombarded with ads from both sides; probably a bit more from Obama, but plenty of Romney.

If Romney has to spend money on ads in North Carolina, he’s already lost. I’m sure it’s a tactical decision.

I guess I remember 2008 when McCain and Palin were up too, only to lose by 14,000 votes.

And it just isn't NC; I am hearing from a lot of people in swing states that Obama continues to dominate Romney in the ad wars.

I think you are right. Romney is going to win in a landslide. Our country is in the worst shape it has been since the Great Depression and this fool of a Prez has spent more money in 3 years than GWB in 8....and things are getting drastically worse, which most people realize.
You need to turn off the propaganda media if it is screwing with your head this much newb.
This isn’t a Chicken Little web forum as posters such as yourself are thankfully in the minority.
Chin up Buckaroo!!! You will be in for a big surprise on 11/6.
We are not the “squeaky wheels” but rather the ones applying the grease.

If the left truly believed that this ‘was over’, or even that they were winning, they wouldn't be relying on techniques such as ‘demoralization’ and Manchurian internet games to try to bolster their chances.

Again, I think (could be wrong) that the ads don’t do crap...
Most know who their voting for by now...
And if the almighty “independents” will swing it, look at who these putzs are favoring lately...
Also, right when Lame and Sarah were on a roll, what happened?
The “financial” -read Soros manipulated - melt down and Lame suspends his campaign, sits like a potted palm at a stupid photo op, buys off on a bail out and loses his base. Epic dive...
Don’t think it’ll happen this time...please God.

Please read and understand my post. Romney isn't spending money on NC ads because if he HAD to, he's lost anyway, precisely because he is ahead; if NC was actually competitive, then he has no hope nationally. Thus a tactical decision not to spend money on NC ads.

“Romney Campaign Cautious With Ad Budget, Even in Key States”
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/20/us/politics/romney-campaign-cautious-with-ad-budget-even-in-key-states.html?hp

Yes, I know it is the NYT, but it is the first I have heard about why the Romney ads are not out there.

Being popular would have elected Kerry.

Since when has Kerry been popular? I personally know Vietnam Vets who would run the gauntlet across the Washington Beltway at rush hour for the chance to punch him in the nose.
