What does that have to do with Romneys choosing self interest over what is best for the Country. His choice to help Obama win shows his true character. He will always choose what is best for himself,as his record shows.

huh? Are the two forever mutually exclusive? Is there ever a case where someone's self interest might not also be the best path?
Is it your contention that Mr. Obama is such a paragon of altruism, that his ego is any less than Mr. Romney's? I doubt you could become a good president of anything without a bit of self interest.
