The Obama administration is trying to tamp down public anger in Pakistan over the anti-Islam film produced in the U.S.
The American Embassy in Islamabad is spending $70,000 to run an ad on Pakistani television featuring President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton denouncing the video.
The State Department says the embassy compiled clips of Obama and Clinton rejecting the contents...

I thought Rush made a good point today. The attack took place first. Then came the apology about the film from the embassy.
Nobody over there knew about the film over there until the embassy “announced” it. Now theObama administration is spreading word of the film widely with a “promotional” piece.
For crying out loud, I had heard nothing of the film before the embassy attack, I doubt very many Amercans had either, and I doubt seriously if very many knew about it in the Muslim world either until that became the administration’s “excuse” for the attack. On top of that, Obama keeps spiking the ball on bin Laden’s death. Zer0 is very likely fanning the flames of violence in the Muslim world.
