U.S. Sen. Scott Brown told the Herald today he’s rushing back to Boston to attend his first showdown with Elizabeth Warren after a standoff in the Senate over pending votes kept him on Capitol Hill.
“All things look like a go,” Brown told the Herald. He also blamed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for delaying votes on a spending bill to the last minute.
“I guess Harry Reid decided to stop Senate business because of a debate,” Brown said.
Brown said he’s not on the flight yet and he could still miss his connection.
The debate is set to be televised tonight on Channel 4 beginning at 7.

Her tone and manner demonstrate sheer condescension to both Brown and to the audience. She is a law professor, after all.
Good move!! Brown hit her on not opting to pay the higher state income tax rate while screeching for higher taxes to be imposed on others.

You’re correct. I wouldn’t put it past her to call the TSA and make sure that he gets a full rectal exam thus missing his flight.
This may the beer talking, but she’s kind of attractive.
I think Scott will win. It will be close, but I see many signs for him and the “bipartisanship” sells here where 53% of the electorate is independent.
Plus, she is coming off too combative. Only the uber moonbats will find that appealing.
Brown comes across as professional, composed and well informed. Warren is rambling all over place and seems frazzled and confused.
