New Mexico is always in play, not solidly Democrat by any means. We just have so few electoral votes some candidates think it is not worth their while. I am not a political expert so they could be right.

We do have a lot of people in poverty, a lot of hard working people that don’t earn much; cost of living away from the cities is very low here too though. All those with poverty incomes in this state are certainly not on assistance either, though they would qualify.

Nice to know...
I stopped in Albequerque about five yrs ago, driving across country on I-40 and got lost that afternoon looking for a liquor store...don’t ask!
I heard after that stay that Alb...was the murder capital of the world or something like that...seemed like an OK place...I understand some areas are stunning but populated with mucho libs...too bad.
Hope Sue Martinez can deliver the state...good luck.
