I had to turn off savage after 3 minutes yesterday-he brings everything back to himself!

I should stop complaining but ugh he gets under my skin!

Kind of an interesting show today. Mike is at his best when he free associates and reaches conclusions perhaps even he didn’t intend to.

I can think of two other examples where locals have somehow determined ways to make food safer or more nutricious. Native American maize nixtamilization, and the African practice of cooking and rinsing casava root to remove toxins come to mind.

“rinsing casava root to remove toxins”

I always wonder how many died before they figured it out. Same with the fugu fish in Japan.

Savage Nation? Today it sounds more like Arthur Godfrey Nation. (with all the Hawaii stuff)

Free speech.. Islamists would never allow this here in America or anywhere else in the world. Ever wonder what drives suicide bombers.. or are you like Maher or Mayhem whatever his name is who says that suicide bombers are heroes to their Islamist brethren?

Heroes? No I don't think so. Turns out it is Islamists' way of getting rid of the riffraff.

Danish psychologist Nicolai Sennels:

"Research suggests that many suicide bombers are suffering from depression, and their actions are just a socially accepted (among Muslims) way of committing suicide . . . close to ninety percent [of the suicide bombers were] suffering from severe illness such as blindness, cancer, missing limbs or leprosy. Many Muslim societies, including that of Afghanistan, have a low social acceptance of handicaps and severe illnesses . . . being physically handicapped or mentally retarded often leads to exclusion in a society like Afghanistan, and becoming a martyr might be the only chance of achieving social recognition and honour — if not just a way to end the pain of being socially isolated (which is especially traumatizing in collectivist cultures like Islam).

"Al Qaida’s use of people with Down’s syndrome might be another unpleasant side effect of the many chromosomal illnesses resulting from inbreeding between first cousins. People with low intelligence (because of inbreeding) might also be easier to brainwash with fundamentalist Islam. . . . Being an outcast due to a physical handicap, living in a country that does not manage to take care of handicapped people, suffering from physical pain following disease, or being depressed or schizophrenic, has now proved to be an important factor as well. The unhealthy culture of inbreeding in Muslim societies increases the number of Muslim martyrs who are looking for an honourable and socially and religiously accepted way out of here."

My emphasis.

So the Islamist who practice consanguineous marriages are actually factories just as we build planes and missiles to deliver bombs. Well I swan. I never expected that.

Bravo, fugu (blowfish) is another good example. They probably fed various organs to prisoners to figure out the bits to be avoided. Sorta along the lines of tempering their katana blades by quenching them in live prisoners.

Liddy retired? He introduced listeners to anti-oxidants from the beginning of his radio career.

.. vacation. Well deserved!

Will his ego let someone fill in?

.. how come, it seems to me, that every time Savage mentions a vacation he gets a call immediately encouraging him to play best-of shows while he is gone?

RE: "WE knew who obozo was, early on."

Yes, FReepers, et al. knew from the start.. now everybody is starting to follow Patrick Henry:

. . . in proportion to the magnitude of the subject [there must] be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that [you] can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should [you] keep back [your] opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, [you] should consider [your]self as guilty of treason towards my country[!] . . . .
