Actually this is the second time they had more balls. The first time is when they banned headscarves.

Thats an amazingly stark and truly sad contrast.
I think that screaming fire in a crowded theater is the only kind of ban on free speech I would ever support as it is an intentional falsehood that itself directly causes probable physical harm to a group of people.
Wow...never thought I’d live to see and actual, bonafide display of French Testicular Fortitude in my lifetime...
Jones appealed his prosecution, saying it violated his right to free speech. A Wayne county Circuit Court Judge ruled it actually did not. But he still reversed the jury’s decision on a due process technicality.
France (and the world)could use a man like Charles Martel again.
Now France has the right idea. I hope next time the uprisings in Dearborn and other places are met with holidays so we can protest THEM as Pakistan has made this a holiday so they can protest and force dhimmitude. France has ball; time for the muzzard in chief to wake up, we just had an embassy blown and four good men dead; can't blame it on the video...and yet they do.
Islam should be proscribed in polite company, even more so than say, the KKK or Nazis. All three are hostile to our unique traditions and Constitution. Shariah is antithetical to our Constitution, which makes it impossible to simultaneously be a good muzzie and swear allegiance to our Constitution as Keith Ellison does. The two are mutually exclusive.
But . . . islam gets a pass by the Left, many school systems, too many judges and even Congress. Why does CAIR get respect on most cable networks? Why does the rat party get a pass for planning a muzzie Juma (sp?) that was canceled a couple days before the rat convention? Islam has no place in our republic.
That fact that it is ascendant speaks volumes as to the corruption of our society.
What does it mean?
I’m sorry, but no. Free speech does not extend to terrorists, to those who actively seek to destroy your nation and culture. and at this point I will say that most French (and really, European) Mulsims are terrorists. Do they all wire up bombs and blow up civilians? No, but they all create and sustain the culture of ignorance and hatred that allows their brothers and sisters to commit terrorist acts in their name.
When the Irish, Italians, Germans emigrated to America they brought their cultural values and ideals with them and adapted THEMSELVES into AMERICAN culture. Muslim emigrants to Europe. They bring their baggage and demand that the Frances and the Italys adapt to THEM and THEIR beliefs.
France should take every damnable Muslim who will not adapt themselves to modern, Western culture and airdrop them into their precious Mecca. Let them build a tent city and life right up next to their holy place.
I am sick to death of all of them and the constant browbeating of the West over damn pictures. PICTURES!

Wrong again. It was a federal judge, and wrote in her order that Jones’ constitutional rights were violated.

Judge clears way for Jones protest outside Dearborn mosque

Detroit — Controversial Florida pastor Terry Jones has been given the final green light to go ahead with a protest Saturday outside a Dearborn mosque.
U.S. District Judge Denise Page Hood granted a motion for an emergency temporary restraining order against Dearborn, barring the city from requiring that Jones signs a “hold harmless” agreement before approving his permit to protest in front of the Islamic Center of America.
“This is clearly an unconstitutional clause which impedes plaintiffs’ First Amendment right to free speech and assembly,” said Hood in the order. “The ordinance requiring the indemnity agreement and the “Hold Harmless” presented to Plaintiffs are unconditional and violate the First Amendment to the United States Constitution as to Plaintiff and others who wish to exercise their rights to speak and assemble in the public fora.”
