Years ago driving through Wisconsin there was a “red barn” type place with a sign outside that read “Guns, Liquor, Antiques”.
I thought of one stop shopping so when you got home you can sit on the porch in your rocker with a beer in one hand and plinking at squirrels with the other. (No - I am NOT seriously advocating drinking and shooting!).

We never drink and shoot, but why the heck can’t I buy both in one place when I am sober?

The Diamond in my wedding ring was purchased at a gun show! One of the dealers took the loose stone in on trade; my husband called me down to look at and we picked up a nice 1/2 carat stone for $250.
We are weird...LOL!
To: garandgal
You’re just frugal.
Makes more sense than than going 5 years in debt for a ring.when you could use the money for a house.
