Another example is the American fishing industry which was brought into Agenda 21, Chapter 17 compliance in 1996. As a result today we import 84% of our seafood and have a seafood trade deficit of $11 billion annually as we import product from communist Viet Nam and China and watch American fishermen go broke.

Also to our State Senators, one of whom has brought a bill to the floor which was voted down, he withdrew for further study and it will come back to the floor sometime in Jan/Feb/2013. His bill is to make it illegal for City councils to force certain people to register properties and not others, as well as collect fees for doing so.
His secretary stated she had never heard of Agenda 21, she will now know what it is. These videos will assist that Senator to convince the others.

I’ve dealt with anti Agenda 21 people and they are not against zoning. They support zoning but only the kind of zoning THEY want ... not what the community votes on.

The parts I’m familiar with are to do with land use and zoning.
All zoning diminished property rights and freedoms ... always has. No one made a stink about it when they agreed with the specific zoning laws (dictating to their neighbors what they can and cannot do with their property). But if they don’t like changes in zoning laws, then they trot out “property rights” and “freedom” ... which they never supported before.
I’ve seen tons of this and it is sickening.
Zoning already strips you of your property rights. Has since its beginning. Why make a stink about it now? I know why ... it’s about the power to tell others what they can and cannot do with their property.
Zoning is put into place and enforced at the local level. City or county.
Zoning also can make it impossible for the private citizen to buy a piece of land. A-21 does not want self reliant people living out in the country. Heaven forbid they may go off the grid and then how will they be controlled?
No, get everyone into the high rises in the cities where they will soon realize that owning a car is just frivolous waste of money, parking is so hard to find and the traffic jams make metro transportation systems the ideal answer.
Everyone following in the footsteps of the person in front of them. That’s how a true socialist society should operate. That is the goal of the United Nations Charter. Look it up and see for yourself.
Yes, that city or council votes to adopt Agenda 21. There is a group called ICLEI that will help them adopt the UN regulations.
Seriously, Agenda 21 is not something to be shrugged off.

The same people who voted for all the other zoning and land use regulations.
Ive been paying attention to it here in Los Angeles. It boils down to people telling us that they are doing it for the environment, that we have to prepare for the influx of a growing population. But our population is declining, so they import illiterate women and pay them to have kids.

Also, the TRUE key to sensible living is “Moderation in ALL things”, and that includes government intrusion into our personal liberties as expressed by the American Founding Fathers.

The ONLY stated purpose of government is to protect our rights - not trample on them.
Unfortunately, they committed a GRAVE error when they inserted the “... promote the general Welfare ...” clause into the US Constitution, and EVERY SINGLE offensive and specious law or regulation can be traced to this one element in the document that was supposed to describe our rights and the methods to protect them.
The way I understand it, the Founders were limiting FEDERAL government ... not all government. Government at the State, county, city level was not addressed by the Founders.

Yes, but that is true of everyone who is involved in government at the city/county level. Each group has their own special interests and try to push their agenda.
I work in the construction/develompment field and have seen this over and over and over again at the city/county level. People want THEIR agenda to be the law ... that goes for developers, real estate agents ... you name it.
Private property owners do not complain about zoning until they decide that their agenda is threatened. But they are no different than any other person or group with an agenda that is only to their own benefit.
These are competing interests at the local level and need to be hashed out at the local level. But it is no good pretending one side is right or wrong ... they are all only out for their own personal agenda.
I’m interested to know what you think of Agenda 21 specifically - since you aren’t very clear.
If we get involved in our local politics Agenda 21 would not be an issue or threat.
However, we don’t do that so we are vulnarable to ANY group with an agenda (21 or otherwise) coming in and dictating things to us.
And there is no shortage of people/groups with agendas willing to dictate to other people.
Agenda 21 is no bigger threat than the general apathy people have to getting involved in local government/politics.
I’ve been to many of these meetings in lots of different communities. What is the most noticable and consistent aspect of them? The lack of citizens attending (a point made in the you tube movie posted).
