But can we expect Reince Priebus to run a series of ads to that effect?
The RNC seriously needs to hammer home that fact that the economic downturn coincides with the election of more Democrats to the congressional houses. Show charts, show pictures of the lefty freaks, show news headlines, anything to ge the word out that electing Democrats is a sure-fire way to have things get worse.
But Sissy Matthews like to buttress his opinions with whatever factoids are at hand. Facts, after all, are whatever Sissy says they are. As Humpty Dumpty said, if I say something to you three times, that means it is true.
Chris Matthews took a vacation at a dude ranch. There was a morning trail ride, but Chris was running late because of his usual morning hangover. All the horses were out, so one of the cowboys saddled up a mule for Chris to ride. A mother and daughter were walking by as Chris started out. The mule was a bit skittish and backed up close to the girl.
“Look out for that horse’s ass!”, the mother yelled.
The cowboy said, “That thar is a mule, ma’am.”
“I know that’s a mule”, she replied. “I was warning her about the horse’s ass riding the mule.”
