None of the women who gave birth to a child conceived in sexual assault expressed regret or wished they had aborted instead.

This fact may come as some surprise to many of those who believe that exceptions should be made in the case of rape. I know it was a surprise to me not so very long ago.

Is it so outlandish to think that despite being raped, a woman's natural inclination is to want to protect the child growing within her? I don't think so.
