I think you might have Howard Stern confused with Don Imus. Imus has a cattle ranch for kids with cancer. Like Stern, he has a bit of the shock jock thing going on at times. But, I think he is more family-oriented than Stern.
I grew up with this A-hole as a jock in DC...The Greaseman can still kick his a$s.

I saw a few Stern late night TV shows before I left in 1999, and remember how they pushed the limits on vulgarity.
I now remember, when living in Slovakia, listening to Imus via online streaming of WABC? out of New York, and his talking about his ranch.
It is easy to confuse the two shock jocks.
