Obama to Release One Third of Gitmo Inmates

President Barack Obama is about to release or transfer 55 Gitmo prisoners, despite reports that the Libyan believed to be behind the killing of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens was a former Guantanamo inmate transferred to Libyan custody.

I have searched some of the names and several of them are still very dangerous terrorist.

It makes no logical sense. Catch a violent dog because it bites people. Hold if for a few years and then release it even though its going to bite people again.

Detainee is a member of al-Qaida.' Detainee was identified as the head of the Tunisian Combatant Group (TCG), which was affiliated with al-Qaida in Afghanistan (AF).
Detainee is.a veteran of jihad in Bosnia with extensive ties to a number of extremist groups.
He is reported to have numerous connections to senior al-Qaida officials, including Usama Bin Laden (UBL).
Detainee has extensive training in the use of weapons and explosives, and participated in hostilities against U S and Coalition forces in Afghanistan as a member of UBL's 55th Arab Brigade.
Detainee was captured in Tora Bora with 29 other mujahideen fighters identified as either bodyguards of UBL, al-Qaida operatives, or both.
Detainee has verbally affirmed his commitment to jihad while in detention at JTF-GTMO.

JTF-GTMO determined this detainee to be:

• A HIGH risk, as he is likely to posea threat to the US, its interests a nd allies
  
• HIGH threat from a detention perspective
  
• Of HIGH intelligence value

I think Obama and Hillary are negotiating with terrorists. Nobody in their right mind releases 55 terrorists after an attack against our country. Nobody in their right mind would remove 33,000 troops from the region after an attack against our country. Al Qaeda asked and it appears somebody listened. I agree however we have a bigger problem. If Obama did negotiate with Al Qaeda then I fear we’ll see another terrorist attack like 9/11 soon. 9/11 was a result of our weakness to Al Qaeda. Clinton did not respond to to an attack on a US Embassy nor did he respond to the attack on the USS Cole. Bombing empty warehouses in the middle of a desert is not a response. Al Qaeda feeds off our weakness. If Obama negotiated, he endangered us all.

Logical sense? of course not. But political sense? He must be feeling some heat from his base about promises not kept. Pro'ly has internal polling showing the base is not that fired up. Given the timing and 4 years of inaction, this is blatantly pandering but this is an administration without a shred of shame. Evidently the liberal mind is incapable of connecting dots.

Beware the period starting one day after the election and ending when the oath of office is administered in early 2013. That mayhem insurance guy has nothing on Obama.

This is utter insanity. And the real insanity is if a pro-Romney superpac doesn’t capitalize on this with an ad that is constructed as follows:

1. Apology tour; pics of obama bowing to Muslim kings with voiceover.

2. Recent violence in mideast pics/clips; voiceover

3. Attempts by Obama to portray this as caused by some ridculouos movie.

4. Apology statements by Susan Rice and Hillary and Obama and Pakistani ad.

5. Leadership role of previous Gitmo detainee in the attacks.

6. And now he is going to release of 1/3 of Gitmo terrorists? 55 more known terrorists to attack us again?

7. Final voiceover: So, Obama apologizes to the Muslim world repeatedly before, during and after terrorists attacks on our embassies, and when that doesn’t work he tries to buy peace with them by releasing 55 more terrorists likely to attack us again? Does this make any sense to you? Is this how you want your President to protect our country against terrorist attacks?

(If I had a spare million dollars, I’d do this myself. Make the ad, put it on youtube and pay to put it on TV. Quite frankly, we need to start our own superpac just to do this.)

It's worse than that. He's on their side. He hates us, he respects and reveres them, he bows to their king. He's twice told the Moslem world he is a Moslem himself, first in 2007 by reciting the Shehada in full, in Arabic, to Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times (whose article he knew would be read all over the world in just a few days), and again in 2009 admitting his taqiyya, his secret Moslem adherence, to Egypt's foreign minister (who promptly told Egyptian media, who published the comments).

Seen through that prism, his notorious reluctance to kill Bin Laden and many other initiatives or failures assume a fresh relevance and intelligibility, with the most sinister implications for what he will do in future.
