The Washington Posts Bob Woodward reported that during negotiations on the stimulus, President Obama called the leaders of the Democratic Party: Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid.
As he spoke, Speaker Pelosi muted the phone and went on with the meeting.
If he cannot lead his own party, how can he lead America?

I disagree on what will be persuasive.
It’s the old, you’ve got to give them something to vote for, too. If anything this plays into squishy moderates fears that Obama might be being disrespected because of his race.
This add is a double edged sword. For conservatives a slam at Obama, for liberals, a slam at Reid and Pelosi.
I’m not sure your disagree is with me as much as with the Romney campaign. I am convinced that I will vote for the most viable alternative to Obama. Romney is not my dream candidate, Reagan’s dead, but he is *vastly* superior to Obama.
I’m certainly with you on all of that.
Well Pelosi can easily say she was still listening after hitting the mute button. I seems to me that hitting mute can mean you are just cutting your own office noise so you can cough, stir coffee loudly, snuff a line or whatever else you want without the other parties hearing.
It is kinda useless. Obviously, Obammy led the Dems to push through Obamacare.
He should be focusing on Obama’s policy failures and how he will have different policies. If it is an American Idol level contest, the stink king wins another term.
This is a brainless American Idol ad.
